BYOP Program from Errorless Service Dogs

Our BYOP program is one more thing that sets us apart as a company. We take our expertise in picking service dog prospects and we offer it to you in the most specialized way possible. You will be in touch with your trainer about your daily needs and your desires for your dog. They will in turn start looking for a reputable breeder that can help us find the right dog for you. The benefit of working this way is the process is so much more intimate and customized to you. It completely takes the training "Out-of-the-box." It allows us to know you and your needs then in turn, us to work specifically to fulfill those needs. Our BYOP program is the future of the company and the full direction we want to run in.

Prior to connecting you with a trainer we have our clients sign a LOI (Letter of Intent) to enroll the puppy in the program once we find the right fit. This is a service offered and there will be a fee charged for the trainers work in finding you your puppy. 

Step One:

We will connect you with a trainer near you that has background in choosing the best breeders: 

• We love to work with breeders that have health testing protocols like OFA testing, DNA testing and title their dogs in sport or service work.
• We look to find the best breeders with a great puppy raising protocol like Puppy Culture or Avidog.
•  We are adamant that our breeders always use ENS to help us along with our Service Dog goals for our pups.
•  Our trainers will schedule a call with you to learn about your needs for the dog. We will discuss breed with you as we will only put certain breeds in program. This policy is to bolster our chances of getting you a fully trained service dog. Once the breed has been agreed upon, our trainers will get to work finding you the best breeder! 

Step Two:

The next most important thing that we do is temperament testing!

• Our trainers have been picked to pilot the Carey Canine Character Assessment temperament test that has been designed for Service Dogs specifically. The temperament testing is not the end-all-be-all for picking a service dog but it does give us a step in the right direction.
• The benefit of this program is that you can go with your trainer to the breeder and watch how they pick your puppy. This is a really nice insight for our clients to have and is different than the regular program where we just get you the temperament testing paperwork, you will get to see it in action!
• You will go to meet your breeder and pay directly for the puppy out of their program. Once we have the right breeder and puppy, the board and train through Errorless Service Dogs will commence!

Step 3

From here we will take you through the Errorless Service Dogs program.

• Our dogs go through proper puppy socialization so that they are neutral in public spaces and taught to watch the world and enjoy it!
• We will get to work on those AKC tests for the puppies in each phase and gather the right tasks for you!
