Phase Four

In Phase Four what can you expect?

Phase 4 is a NEW part of our program. The purpose is to set each client and dog team up for success! This is a 6 unit video series where we teach you how to build the relationship with your dog and become a working team. With the weekly videos you will also get a fillable form journal customizing your experience and bringing your trainer into your daily transition with your dog. We have built this Phase as an effort to teach both ends of the leash with Errorless Learning. You can expect Phase 4 to take anywhere from 2-6 months to finish at home.

What does that mean in our program?

In Phase Four you can expect to have support. We work closely with our clients when they receive their dog to set everyone up for success. The transition home can be a really stressful time for both handler and dog.

Phase Four will teach you:

  • Setting realistic expectations as you learn to handle a service dog.
  • What stress signs you should watch out for with your new service dog.
  • How to begin learning "Training Loops," and Errorless Learning Principles.
  • Training Games to help engage and build relationship.
  • Guided help and step-by-step directions on getting out in public.
  • Beginner dog body language.
  • Beginning task work through public task work.
  • Everything you need to go from a new team to a working public team!
