Service Dog Drop Outs
Welcome to our drop outs page, think beauty school drop out! These dogs are usually missing one or two pieces to be able to be a working-in-public Service Dog. Make sure and ask the trainer if the specific dog should just become a home pet or would have potential to be an at home Service Dog. These are dogs that may have a sound sensitivity, or struggle greeting lots of people under control of the handler. These are problems for public dogs but are more then workable for a pet dog.
These dogs make the best pet dogs that most homes have seen! They still have quite a bit of training in and are continuously worked even if they washed out of the Service Dog program. Our fee for these dogs is quite a bit less so we can find them the best home. They are NOT for sale as Service Dogs. We will not sign off on them going to Service homes unless it is agreed they can be an in-home SD option.
